Lady Gaga Presentation

                                                     Presentation from VonNielsenR

From Lady Gaga's website you can see images of her on every page, these images show that Lady Gaga dresses in eccentric fashion and is quirky.

The  most recent campaign she has launched is her collaboration with Tony Bennet. She uses different photos and album covers to attract the audience and illustrate the type of music. Her most recent music videos are uploaded to YouTube which are displayed on her website. Most of these are with Tony, a lot of them are already on Tony's YouTube. Tony's fans will also be encouraged to watch Gaga's videos because of this, she is widening her target audience,

Lady Gaga's artwork for her albums is very reflective of her music. They are often self portraits showing her artistic flair. They are also usually singles art work. This shows she is interested in broadening her image.

Task Six - What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

 Chapter Fifty-One:

What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

I have learnt a lot while constructing my opening sequence to the thriller Evangeline. In terms of online technologies, for the Pre-Production, before I began filming I used Blogger, to plan out shots and the plot of the opening sequence. I blogged research on other opening sequences and thrillers by finding them on YouTube also. The software I used to edit the material I had filmed was Adobe Premier Pro. I really enjoyed using this software as it is a new software to me, I previously have only used Final Cut Pro and iMovie. This was a new option for Post-Production editing in my opinion it was the best.   On the day where Production was due to start I used hardware including A Sony NX5 film camera to capture the material I would later edit and my iPhone 5 to record what happened throughout the day via photographs. On the NX5 I learnt to use the focus, zoom, white balance, exposure and record buttons. I used two Online Technologies to find sound for my thriller. I used YouTube to search for copyright free music, and SoundCloud for sound effects.
In Post-Production, there were a lot of tools to learn about before I could begin editing my thriller. I learnt how to create a Bin. I also learnt how to move Rushes into the bin. I began Cutting the rushes using the I and O buttons on the keyboard. I then ordered them so the clips could change in the right places. To make clips longer or shorter I learnt to use the Arrow tool which is enabled by pressing V. I learnt it was possible to Unlink sound which is important if it needs to be dubbed over a visual slide. Once sound and video were sorted I needed to add in Titles. There is a tab for this. Finally I Exported the video into a film and it was available to upload to the Online Broadcasting Network YouTube.

We have finalised our cast for EVANGELINE.

Evangeline - Eliza Thapa

Sister - Fran Parisi

Young Michael - Alex L

Older Michael - Dmitry L

Brooke (Friend)- Hannah Nanton

Location Confirmation

Chapter Thirty-Eight:

Location Confirmation

Today I found out the date for shooting my thriller has been moved to this friday so,
Friday 30th January
Which moves our date forward and leaves us less time to prepare, I have sent an email to the bathroom owner to confirm our shooting there and should hear back later today. I have received permission to use the Audi to film the car scene and driver and I am still awaiting permission to use a public wardrobe for costume.

To film the one underwater scene we will need to find a go pro with waterproof housing and get permission to use it. I have someone in mind and will send an email requesting the use of it.
The keyhole has been made and is ready to use so shooting those scenes will be easy and are complete.
All our actors are available.

Filming The Car Scene

Chapter Thirty-Six :

"If I had a world of my own, everthing would be nonsense..."

Car Scenes

To film the car for the car scene we need to make sure the angles are accurate and consistent. Continuity is key. It will also be important that the last shot you are able to see the shadow of the stalker but not is figure or his face. Possibly his feet so the right angle will allow us to see what we need to follow the plot.

Storyboard Part Two

Chapter Twenty-Five:

"Be yourself, everyone else is already taken."

Storyboarding - Part Two

This week I've been working on a storyboard for my new concept. I was unsure of how to do this because A) I'm not quite 'van Gogh' and B) I wasn't sure about what needed to be put on paper. I found a useful video on storyboarding and used a template to draw on.
